Week 13
Houseguests: Cassandra Waldon, James Rhine, Josh Welch, Karen O'Neil
At the Final 4 HOH competition the houseguests played Name to Name where they had to list past houseguests. The first letter of a houseguest had to match the last letter of the previous houseguest's last name. With 31 names used, Cassandra won her first HOH competition.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
*waves HoH key in front of the camera* FINAL THREE!!!!!!!
Seriously I'm in shock. I didn't even think 31 would be enough but it was certainly more than enough. Holy shit I'm in the final three, this is HUGE. I'm in shock but WOW. My main strategy for this HoH was tedious, but it worked. I went through each season and wrote down each HouseGuest, organizing them by first names, A-Z. I just make a list and got rid of people who would've ended the list (Carol Journey for example, since nobody starts with Y) and kept going and tried to maximize it and it worked! Holy shit, I'm THAT much closer to the end. I can't believe it.
I'm glad Cassandra won HoH. I want Karen to leave.
At the nomination ceremony, Cassandra made simple nominations.
Cassandra: Hello everyone. This is the Nomination Ceremony and without further delay...
I have nominated you, Josh, and you, James, for eviction. This really means nothing. As I'm sure you're all well aware, nominations at F4 don't matter at all because it all comes down to the Power of Veto Competition. We all have a fair shot to win and do what we want with nominations after that. I wish everyone good luck and with that, this Nomination Ceremony is adjourned.
At this point in the game, there's minimal strategizing to be had, honestly. The nominations don't matter at all because it comes down to the PoV. Obviously I want Josh with me because he's my ideal F2 partner. When it comes down to targeting James or Karen, I know that I initially wanted Karen but I'm beginning to change my mind. James is very intelligent. We both had similar strategies, and I'm sure that he could make a pretty convincing case that he did his strategy better than mine. He's intelligent and he already won, so he knows how to work the Jury over. He's a huge threat. And when I think about it, I can't think of many people who would vote for Karen. I would like to think that Drew, Jen, Jee, and maybe even Russell, Lori, and Kalia would have a hard time voting for Karen, but you really never know. With the pace of the game, there's been a lot of time to sit back and digest what's happened, which means that some people might not be as bitter as they could've been. Karen's proven herself in Competitions and I'm sure that James can turn it to the next level when he needs to. Now I'm leaning towards targeting James, but I can never be sure. Ultimately, I think that there's a good chance that my decision will be made for me with the winner of the Power of Veto. We're at the point in the game where Competitions are a lot more important than strategy. Winning this HoH is a great confidence booster for helping me believe myself as a legitimate competitor. I'm going to try for the next Power of Veto, but it's not even that important for me. It all comes down to the final HoH Competition, it can make or break me.
At the final Veto competition, the final 4 played Before and After. The veto players had to recall whether certain events happened before or after other events. With a perfect score of 5 points, James won the final veto of the season.
Ugh James winning is the worst thing that could happen. He's going to take himself off the block and that only leaves me to put up there then he's going to vote me out. This will be my demise.
Ugh, I fucked up the PoV big time. I misread one question and answered REAL quickly and got it wrong. If I got it right, I would've won PoV -_____- But James won instead so now I just have to try to get him out next round. I'm praying to god that he evicts Karen over Josh and if he's smart he would, since Josh is the ultimate goat. All I know is that next round it's imperative that I win HoH so I can put fate into my own hands.
I won veto. I received two pms from both Josh and Karen. Karen, obviously, was more desperate. But her mistake was in saying that there would be no future promises, i.e. she'd vote my ass out final 3. Beat her to the punch I guess.
Cassandra and James were now secured for the Final 3, but who would come with them?
James: Hi. I use the veto on myself. That makes Josh and Karen the final nominees.
I vote to evict Karen. You made it really far, all to your own doing. You are probably the biggest competition threat out of everyone left. I have nothing but respect for you and how you played this game.
Congrats Josh and Cassandra for making top 3 with me.
Karen was then sent to the jury house as the eighth juror.
