Hi Drew!
This was the week I left. This was also the week you had the Power of Veto. How come you were going against the majority to get votes, when you could've simply just used the veto to save me? The reason I didn’t use the Veto on you is because nobody else would be able to take the fall for me. If I used the Veto on you, my intentions would’ve been made clear to everyone. At that point, I was trying to make a lot of people think I was working with them, including Russell, the HoH that week. If I used the Veto on you, I would make myself a target definitely for Russell, if not multiple people. There were ten people left the game and that leaves a lot of time for people to come after me. I tried to save you through the vote because it would take more people, meaning someone else could take the fall for me. While I was sad to see Jee evicted, I was able to remain in the background more and not become the target for a while. If it was later in the game, I would’ve used the Veto on you because there would be less time for people to target me.
Cassandra, I would also like you to list your most important game moves that you made in this game. My first important game move was what I mentioned about, in trying to keep you through the vote. Even though my attempt was unsuccessful, it freed me from my bad position in the alliance. Like I said in my Opening Statement, Jee and I were on the outside of the alliance that helped evict Enzo, and by voting to evict Karen instead of you, I was able to start playing the game against the majority. Being free from the alliance, I was able to work with Karen the next round and Lori was soon evicted.
My next most important game move was after Kalia was evicted in the live PoV and vote. I began to work with James to try to take out Karen and Russell. Karen had the ultimate "rags to riches" story after nearly all her allies were evicted early in the game and she was a tremendous fighter for being to overcome all of that. With Russell, I'll use the way James phrased it: "the story of this game has been written by Russell." We all know how much of a power player Russell was. He dominated Competitions and when he wanted someone evicted, he went all out to get them evicted. As many of you guys are acknowledging, they were both great players and if they made it to the end, they would both be very deserving of the win. James and I both acknowledged this and agreed to work together to evict them for both of our own interests. Following this, James won HoH and Russell was evicted and then I won HoH/James won PoV and Karen was evicted.
My last move that I would say was my most important move was evicting James. It was a hard decision emotionally, but strategically it was pretty straightforward. James played a great game, in fact he played the game I was trying to play. We all acknowledged James as someone who was slipping under the radar, but nobody did anything about it. We all let him get as far as we did despite knowing how he was playing the game. If you just look at his history in Recycled, it's clear that he knows what he's doing and if I took him to the finals instead of Josh, I would throw away any chance I had of winning. It only made sense to take Josh, I'm pretty sure that everyone in the final five, if not more, realized how beneficial it would be to take Josh to the end.
For both of you, list the jurors + pre-jurors in order from most strategic to least strategic. I want reasons as well 1. Russell - If you wanted someone you, they were evicted. You won Competitions and were actively known as a huge threat, but still managed to get as far as you did.
2. Karen - Definitely one of the greatest comeback stories I've seen in an ORG. You lost a few allies and weren't in the greatest position early on, but you were able to work your way back into the game and became a serious threat to win the whole thing. Just like Russell, you were evicted only because you were a big threat to win.
3. James - Phenomenal under the radar game. You have a way with words and are very charming and charismatic. Just by talking to people, you make them feel safe and you were able to advance far in the game despite your history in the series. You always made decisions to piss as few people off as possible and like Russell and Karen, you were a huge threat to win.
4. Lori - Like the others, you were a force to be reckoned with. People trusted you very easily and you had a lot going for you.'
5. Jen - The thing about Jen is that as much as she may have pissed people off with her button pushing ways, she has just as many people supporting her cause. She could get away with her antics because of the people who had her back.
6. Drew - Great social game. You just gave off some great positive energy and were really likable. Your easygoing attitude made you really easy to relate to and likable.
7. Kalia - Although I don't think you played as hard in the forefront as others, you definitely had a strong game behind the scenes. You aligned with the right people and were able to socially work your way into a strong group of people who had your back for a lot of the game.
8. Enzo - Played the game very hard from the get go. The fact that so much work had to get in to get him evicted Week 3 shows how strong of a player he is. If he wasn't a veteran and didn't have that automatic target on him, he would've gone very far.
9. Rachel - Her only downfall was being in the minority after Enzo's eviction. She made a valiant effort to save herself and everything she told me was true, but it was just too early for me to make a move and jump sides.
10. Tonya - I will admit that Tonya's someone who I really never had a chance to talk to much or work with her. But she made it pretty far so she had to do something right.
11. Jee - Jee was in the majority alliance, but like myself he was at the bottom of it. We both tried to turn against it, but Jee took the fall. I think one of Jee's weaknesses was relying more on PMs than AIM for communication. I think if he was on AIM more, he might've been able to create better bonds with people and possibly make it further.
12. Shelly - She ended up being just another number on the other side. I rank her ahead of Libra and April based on her placing.
13. April - Early boot, but not the first boot.
14. Libra - First boot, so this is a fitting spot for her.
One last question, are you guys proud of how you played this game? Yes and no. Unlike Josh, I'm not completely unsatisfied with how I played the game. I won Competitions when I needed to and changed alliances with necessary. After all, I made it here so I have to be a little bit proud with how I played the game. However, I'll be the first to admit that my game wasn't perfect. There were a lot of setbacks in my game, such as being near the bottom of the majority alliance early on, and as you guys saw when my votes were revealed for three weeks, there were quite a few times where I was in the minority of the vote. While there were a lot of times where I wasn't in the best position, I was able to do what I could to make it just a little bit further each time, and before I knew it, I made it to the end. So yes, while I definitely did not play the most dominant game and some of the Jurors did play harder than I did, ultimately I am still proud of my game to a certain degree.
Hope this covers everything Drew!
